General Information

Starting & Finishing Times

School starts at 9:00a.m. and finishes at 3:00p.m.

Supervision: Teacher supervision begins at 8:30am. Any child who arrives before this time must sit quietly on the seats in the playground. After-school supervision is the parent’s responsibility once students have been dismissed from class.

Before & After School Care

The Arncliffe YMCA, Coronation Hall, 23 Barden Street, Arncliffe.  (Phone: 9567 4595, Fax:  9556 3593, Mobile:  0401 775 770) offers Before and After School Care at their premises. Parents interested in casual or permanent enrolments are to contact the YMCA.  (Enrolments forms are available from the school office.)

Newsletter

A weekly Newsletter is distributed each Thursday.  Please check for current events and dates for your diary.

Scripture

Scripture time for K-2 is 12:00 – 12:30pm every Friday and 3-6 12:30 – 1:00pm. Please make sure that you have indicated on your Enrolment Form and Information Sheet or inform your class teacher if you wish your child to attend a Scripture Class.

The school currently has classes for Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Uniting Church, Arabic and Presbyterian.

Support Programs

The school is able to implement a variety of programs to assist students who may be experiencing difficulties in a particular area of their learning.  The most current programs in this school are a special reading program to assist students in Year 1 and 2 and an ESL program for students from non-English speaking backgrounds.
